6. Money doesn’t buy happiness and security
There is more to life than money, bills and work. Money doesn’t buy happiness and security. We only need our basic needs. Having a house, food on the table, being safe, that’s really important to recognize because not everyone has those things.
7. Less is more
Life with less stuff, less clutter, less stress and debt, and discontent is life with fewer distractions, more time, more meaningful relationships, more growth, contribution and contentment.
“Minimalism is not a radical lifestyle,” said Josh. And to become a minimalist is a choice. No one and nothing can really dictate how we should live our lives, but everyone has reasons why they chose to live this or that way. For Ryan and Josh a life of less is a life of passion unencumbered by the trappings of the chaotic world. They chose to live life deliberately by living with less, the Minimalist style.
