#coachchrissays is now partnering with a youth sports organization that is aimed in developing future basketball stars from the grassroots area. Pinoy Youth Dreamers which is founded by Coach Beaujing Acot in 2013 formed PYD as a platform for his outreach for sports specifically developing players in rural areas such as Navotas and Malabon and Provincial Areas like Bulacan and Cabanatuan and other nearby provincial LGU’s who would want to organize camps for the children in their commuties.
The children who are being trained by PYD are in good hands with Coach Beaujing Acot spearheading the program. He has been a renowned skills and defensive coach for several UAAP, PBA D-league teams and several RP Teams.
For several years now since its foundation with Coach Beaujing at the helm, PYD has been giving back to the underprivileged youth in helping them hone their basketball skills hoping that in the future, the skills that they learn will help them uplift their lives.
Coach Beaujing and the PYD has further expanded their outreach teaching in camps and competing in Malaysia and Bruinei and this coming November 26 to December 3, 2016, PYD will again represent the Philippines in the International High School Championships in Kedah, Malaysia. They will play against teams from Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, Taiwan, Macau, India, Australia and host Malaysia.
PYD expects an improve showing and hopes to bring the championship home as last year they bowed to the host in the finals and according to Coach Beaujing, his boys prepared hard for this tournament.
