This famous family glass Igloo Hotel in Finland known as Hotel Kakslauttanen has a clear view of the northern lights popularly known as the Aurora Borealis.
It is located 250 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. The hotel is said to be far and very remote, but the place is easy to reach. The nearest international airport is in Ivalo, just a 30-minute ride away. Finnair and Norwegian Airlines fly regularly between Helsinki and Ivalo. The place is also near from the Northern Norway or Murmansk, Russia.
Each igloo is made out of glass giving a panoramic view. The temperature outside can get 40 degrees Celcius so they made the igloos insulated with a thermal shell enough to make you feel warm and comfortable. A truly wonderful place as some might considered it as one of the best places to visit before you die.
